Alexandre Hollan, Become the world

Alexandre Hollan’s new exhibition “Devenir le monde”, is on view this summer in the Orangerie at Château La Dournie.

“I chose the tree because it’s always invisible, moving through the movements of life while remaining motionless. I’ve been drawing it for decades, and have come to know it in all its forms and secrets. He guided me towards the world in which he lives, towards the landscape. This space where the invisible is already closer, where the air is thinner, where silence is not far away, it touches us. This form of artistic sensitivity is our world.”
