BERNADETTE CHÉNÉ – “In the forest, the trees”

From July 6 to August 31, Bernadette Chéné presents a unique exhibition: ” In the forest, the trees ” at the Congress Center of Odysséa (85).
What if the forest of Saint Jean de Monts came to meet you? Indeed, this is the artistic aim of this exhibition-installation, created as you go along.

Creations on the scale of the site, coming to life in situ before the visitor’s eyes. Bark, leaves, branches, trunks, earth: Bernadette Chéné’s guiding principle is to create minimalist works from simple, familiar materials recovered on site.
The artist draws her inspiration from her surroundings, creating unique sculptures highlighting land and nature.

She encourages us all to question, listen to and look at our environment.
